After successfully negotiating the tender process the client ordered a single modular building plus a 7 bay modular to be installed and fitted out over the summer period. They specified a modern style building of approximately 200m² with a mixture of rooms and services be provided. This was to include 4 No Animal Care/teaching rooms each to be no less than 30m², a student recreation room of approximately 25m², W/C provision, male, female and disabled, circulation space and a small office of approximately 10m² with a sink unit, with hot and cold water provision, heating, lighting and electrical outlets throughout. Completed on budget and on time within 2 months, the logistics proved a challenge with regards to materials and working around the colleges personnel because it is a busy working agricultural college. This was overcome by good team management and liaising regularly with the client and the contractors.
